MJR at the House of Lords
At the presentation by the Movement for Justice and Reconciliation at the House of Lords on Tuesday November 10, a virtually full committee room heard short papers from a number of speakers on topics to do with 'The Legacy of Slavery', including 'Loss of Identity', 'Education and Legacy' and 'Mental Health and Legacy'. We are hoping to produce a booklet containing all the papers. The core paper for the event, 'Making the Case for the Legacy of Slavery, can be downloaded here. A fuller report will be added soon.
